Tawanda is a distinguished professional with a wealth of experience in the banking industry. He holds a BSc in
Agribusiness from Solusi University, a Postgraduate Diploma in International Banking and Finance with Certified
Commerce and Industry Personnel, and a Master of Commerce in Finance from Great Zimbabwe University.
Furthermore, he is also a certified Lender from the Atlas Mara Credit Academy in the United States.
He has over 13 years of working experience in the banking industry, prior to joining Cottco, Tawanda worked for
various banks such as Agricultural Bank of Zimbabwe, ZB Bank, African Banking Corporation, and Metbank, where
he gained experience in Retail and Business Banking, Agribusiness Banking, Asset Management, Corporate and
Treasury Banking. Additionally, he worked for Ethical Holdings as Group Treasurer, overseeing two entities –
Ethical Leaf Tobacco and Zimbabwe Cotton Consortium. He also served as a Treasury Manager for Sahara
Tobacco and as a General Manager for Tsapo Agro.
